BIG FM wins Rural Marketing Awards

India’s Reliance Broadcast Network Limited owned Big FM’s rural business vertical – Big Rural – took home four awards at the sixth edition of Rural Marketing Association of India’s (RMAI) Flame Awards on March 20.

The annual awards acknowledge and honour the finest campaigns in marketing, branding, innovation and CSR in rural India in the past year.

This year, the event received 209 entries spread across 25 categories out of which 63 won awards.

Big Rural’s ‘Gillette Guard Big Disha’ campaign won two Gold awards under the categories ‘Youth Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Radio Campaign of the Year’.

The campaign aimed to help the youth recognize their distinctive skills and talents and provide them with direction on the career front.

‘Mere Desh Ki Dharti’ campaign bagged Silver in the ‘Radio Campaign of the year’ category.

As a part of this campaign, the station joined hands with the Indian Council for Agriculture and Research launched to launch a two-hour radio show featuring success stories in the farming community and expert opinions for farmers in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

‘Pudin Hara Lemon Fizz Paet Ka Fire Brigade’ campaign was awarded Bronze under the category ‘On Ground Promotion of the year for Brand Awareness”.
