First speakers announced for Radiodays Asia

 

Radiodays Asia, a new international radio and audio conference that’s coming to South East Asia in 2019, has announced its first six speakers.

They represent a wide range of expertise on strategy, content, new platforms, research and advertising from Europe, Asia, Australia and America.

Cathy O´Connor, CEO of Nova Entertainment, Australia, is heading successful commercial radio brands like Nova and SmoothFM, and is now deploying its podcast strategy.

Sana Rangwala, India, Programming Head at Radio Mirchi’s second frequency, Mirchi Love, is very active using social media to connect with listeners.

Mark Barber, Planning Director at Radiocentre, UK, is a leading expert in research on radio advertising effectiveness and the impact of audio messages.

Michael Hill, UK, Director of Radioplayer a broadcaster backed radio platform used in many countries, is working on giving radio a prominent place in connected cars and on voice controlled speakers.

Staffan Rosell, CEO of Bauer Media in Swedena successful commercial radio group, is in charge of the launch of the podcast platform RadioPlay.

Philippe Generali, USA, is the President CEO of RCS worldwide, with a profound background in innovating radio broadcast systems.

The two-day conference, which will take place in Malaysia on August 27-28 , will contain two parallel tracks to enable a wide spread of topics and more specialized sessions. Some sessions will be fast paced, with shorter presentations; others will be panels, keynotes and inspiring case studies. It will be held at the Istana Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
