Frontier Smart Technologies has been authorised by Spotify as part of its new Approved Certification Partner program for Spotify Connect.

Spotify Connect allows Spotify subscribers, both free and premium, to stream music to devices via Wi-Fi, rather than streaming content from a user's phone via Bluetooth.

This allows the user's phone to act as a remote control rather than as a streaming device, significantly reducing the drain on the phone's battery. Using Wi-Fi also provides a superior audio experience for listeners with fewer drop-outs, superior sound quality and the ability to deliver multi-room audio.

Over the last five years, Frontier has partnered with Spotify to enable over 250 audio products with the Spotify Connect feature.
