India RAM Week 7: Close competition in Kolkata

 

According to the latest RAM report for the four Indian metros for the week of February 7 to 13, there was close competition for the second and third spots in Kolkata.

While Radio Mirchi continued to lead with 18.5 percent share of listeners, Big FM, which was tied with Fever at the second spot last week with 15 percent share of listeners, managed to inch ahead to take the second place this week with 15.4 percent share.

Fever followed closely with 15.2 percent share and the highest Time Spent Listening (TSL) of 5.47.

At the third spot, Red FM and local station Aamar FM were tied with 9.3 percent share each.

Oye FM followed closely at the fourth spot with 9.2 percent share of listeners, losing 1 percent since previous week.

In Mumbai, Big FM maintained its top spot with 18.5 percent share, gaining 0.1 percent since previous week.

Radio City continued to be second with a share of 16.4 percent, having gained 0.8 percent, and Fever stayed third 14.3 percent share, down from 15 percent last week.

Radio Mirchi was fourth with 13.2 percent, a loss of 0.2 percent from previous week and Red FM was fifth with 11.2 percent.

In Delhi, Fever continued to be a clear leader with 19 percent share of listeners – same as previous week and the highest TSL of 4.54.

Mirchi was second with 13.7 percent share and City was third with 11.8 percent.

Big FM gained 1 percent to take the fourth spot with 11.7 percent while Red FM took the Red FM slipped to fifth place with 10.9 percent share – same as previous week.

In Bangalore, City continued to be a favourite with 23.1 percent share, down by 0.4 percent since last week and the highest TSL of 10.2 while Big followed with 21.3 percent – up by 0.9 percent since last week.

Radio Mirchi was third with 15.4 percent, down from 16.2 percent previous week and Fever was fourth with 14.1 percent share.
