Indian presenter RJ Ved won the ‘Funniest RJ in UAE’ award at the recent UAE Comedy Awards 2016.

Big Rossi and Kris Fade from Virgin Radio were the runners up in the same category.

Ved presents the mid morning show ‘Nothing Official with RJ Ved’ on Dubai based Station 105.4 Radio Spice.

The awards were hosted by Pete Stoddard and featured performances from Omar Kazim, Salman Qureshi and Rayan H Karaky.

 The winners were chosen after three weeks of public nominations and four weeks of public voting.

 Over 28,500 votes were cast overall by comedy fans across the country.

Ved’s show has also been awarded “Middle East’s Most Favourite Show” by World top Djs (WTD). 

Speaking about the win, Ved said, “I would like to thank the CEO of our company Herman Lewis for his guidance and lessons.”
