Indigo 91.9 FM launches Goa Airport Radio

 

Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Indigo 91.9 FM – an international music station which broadcasts in Goa and Bengaluru, have partnered to launch Goa Airport Radio at Goa International Airport.

According to a statement, Indigo will play specially curated music for the passengers at the airport. In addition, Goa Airport Radio would have its exclusive Jockey who would interact with the passengers announce utility and flight related information as well as play music.

B C H Negi, Airport Director, Goa International Airport, said: “Goa is one of the most popular holiday destination in India and major portion of the passenger mix at Goa Airport is young and middle-aged vacationers.”

He further added that Goa Airport is unique in the kind of passengers it handles with demographics showing that more than 65 per cent of them were below 40 years of age.

Satyanaryana Murthy, CEO of Indigo 91.9 FM, said: “We are excited to be partnering with the Goa International Airport to offer Radio As A Service (RAAS). W we are confident that the flyers will have a great experience while enjoying our handpicked international music.”
