Singapore’s Tamil station Oli 96.8FM dispatched one of its deejays to help guide the hosts of a TV show around the city state.

Alex and Marko Ayling, aka The Vagabrothers, were filming the BBBtv travel show in Singapore recently.

The brothers are exploring the world on the journey of a lifetime, spanning 6 months, across 6 continents, after winning a contest on mydestination.com.

Singapore is the 18th country The Vagabrothers have travelled to and the boys wanted to learn more about the spread of Indian culture.

So DJ Ananthan took The Vagabrothers for a typical Singaporean breakfast of Roti Prata and Teh Tarik at Little India.

He then guided them around the quarter, showing how different Indian traditions remain alive to this day in Singapore before wrapping up the tour with a Biriyani meal.

The Singapore episode will be released in a few weeks time.
