Singapore’s One FM 91.3 host Cheryl Miles will tie the knot with Matthew Nixon, an Amercian bank executive this autumn.

Miles, 42, co-host of ‘The Escape Plan with Shan & Cheryl’, can be heard weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm and on weekends from 6 am to 10 am.

Miles began her radio career in 2008, also having worked as a Channel News Asia TV presenter.

She was also active in theatre and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Life Theatre Awards in 2006 and 2008.

She has also appeared in several local TV drama series such as Lifeline, Going Straits and Singapore Shakes.

Nixon, vice-president of client services at the Bank of New York Mellon popped the question three days before Christmas, after a year-long courtship that began on a dating app.
