Indian network Radio City is back with the seventh season of its singing talent hunt ‘Radio City Super Singer’.

The hunt, which started on August 19, is looking for the next big singing sensation across 15 cities in India.

The slogan for this season is ‘Gaane aaoge toh jaane jaoge’(If you come to sing, you will be famous).

The contest promises prize money of $1534 (Rs. 100,000) and a launch pad for budding singers.

Every city will have 5 winners and the final winner will be chosen through a grand finale in September.

Participants can audition through multiple platforms – by sending in CDs, live auditions in malls and colleges, through WhatsApp, at Radio City studios or to uploading their voice clips on https://www.planetradiocity.com/radiocitysupersinger.

The process of auditions and mentoring helps the singers to come out of their shell, boost their confidence and go ahead to perform in front of a huge audience.”
