Radio City reaches 52.5 million Indians, says research

 

India’s Jagran Group owned Radio City  network has listenership across 52.5 million Indians, according to the latest radio listenership survey conducted by AZ research. 

The study was conducted across 23 cities amongst SEC 12+ across all day parts to understand FM Radio listening behaviour vis-à-vis other mediums.

The report summarizes city wise as well zone wise listenership data, and shows trends in each part of the country.

In 15 out of 23 cities, Radio City tops the chart as the most recalled station as per the recent AZ survey.

It is a leader in the National Capital Region with 9.278 million listeners and has also emerged as the most preferred radio network with a listenership of 22 million in Western India.

In Mumbai it has a reach of 8.493 million listeners, 4.126 million in Ahmedabad and 3.497 million in Pune.

In the south, it reaches 13 million listeners in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore and Vizag.
