RAM Week 11: Radio City and Big FM tied in Mumbai and Delhi

According to the latest RAM data for subscribers in the four Indian metros for Week 11 from March 8 to 14, it was a tie between Radio City and Big FM in Mumbai as well as Delhi.

In Mumbai, both City and Big shared the number one position with a market share of 18.4 percent each, though Big FM had the highest Time Spent Listening (TSL) of 6.27.

Last week, Big FM was at the top with 18.8 percent and City was second with 18.6 percent share.

Last week’s number three, Fever slipped to number four with 13.7 percent share while Radio Mirchi climbed up to take the third spot with 14.4 percent share.

In Delhi, Fever continued its unchallenged run at the top with 18.9 percent share and the highest TSL of 5.15, followed by Radio Mirchi with 12.9 percent share.

Big FM and Radio City were tied at the third spot with 12.3 percent share each.

Red FM was fourth with 10.7 percent and Oye! FM was a distant fifth with 5.5 percent share. Radio One and English station Hit 95 FM were tied at the last place iwth 2.6 percent share each.

In Bangalore, Radio City led with a share of 21.7 percent and the highest TSL of 8.47, followed by Big FM with 21.5 percent.

Radio Mirchi was third with 17.6 percent and Fever was fourth with 11.5 percent share.

In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi continued to lead the market with 20.2 percent market share.

Big FM was second in terms of market share with 15.3 percent, but had the highest TSL of 4.37.

Radio One was at the third place with 10.5 percent, followed closely by local station Aamar FM which climbed up one spot from last week to take the fourth spot with a share of 10.1 percent.
