Rdio, the US based music streaming service, is expanding further in Asia Pacific and the Caribbean.

It has entered into an exclusive partnership with mobile service provider Digicel to offer its prepaid data customers 30 minutes of free internet radio listening per day on their mobile phones.

The service is being offered in 24 new markets including Fiji, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, and Vanuatu in Oceania.

Digicel will also be collaborating closely with Rdio to curate playlists and stations together with its Brand Ambassadors in each country to offer popular music from around the world in addition to local artists.
