India’s 93.5 Red FM has joined hands with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the defending champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), for the cricket tournament’s eighth season.

IPL starts from April 8 and KKR, owned by Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, is one of the favourites in the competition.

Red FM has created a platform called ‘KKR ka Control Room’ for various on-ground and on-air activities to connect with KKR fans in Kolkata.

The station will host KKR players such as Gautam Gambhir, Yusuf Pathan, Morne Morkel live on various shows.

It has also lined up many contests giving away team merchandise, match tickets and a special bus tour for KKR fans.

Commenting on the association, Nisha Narayanan, COO, 93.5 RED FM, said: “We are proud to be associated with the most sought after team of IPL.
