Indian network 92.7 Big FM has launched ‘Radio Reel’ – a new show featuring popular singer Shaan. Each episode of the show will take listeners through the life journey of a celebrated Bollywood personality on their birthday.

The show will go on-air in 36 Hindi-speaking markets, between 7 and 9 am on the day of the celebrity’s birthday. 
Shaan, whose real name is Shantanu Mukherjee, has lent his voice to many popular Bollywood songs across genres and has worked with the some of the best music directors in India.

As a radio host, he will celebrate the birthdays of the celebrities he has sung for and share interesting trivia from their personal life, relationships and achievements.
Talking about the show, Shaan said: “This is the first time that I will be hosting a show on radio and I am very excited about it. Moreover, I will be talking on a subject that is close to my heart. I am happy to share some interesting trivia from the life of noted personalities of Bollywood with the listeners. This in a way will be a tribute from my side and a little gesture of thanks for the stalwarts of Indian cinema.”
