The ABU is seeking a suitably experienced person to fill the position of:


Assistant, Secretary-General ‘s Office




Duties include but are not limited to:

·         assisting the Secretary-General, Executive Assistant to the Secretary-General and senior staff of SG Department with logistics and documentation for meetings, workshops and seminars;

·         day-to-day routine administrative duties such as preparing letters, faxes and emails, filing;

·         maintaining database for the work of the department;

·         organizing events and coordinating  travel arrangements;

  • Liaising and interacting with members and stakeholders.



  • university degree and at least 3 years of experience in administration;
  • high level of spoken and written English;
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in data base;
  • team player and strong interpersonal skills.
