60 Second Radio Contest launches on #WorldRadioDay

 

The fifth edition of the 60 Second Radio Contest and broadcast platform is being launched on February 13 – World Radio Day.

Since its inception in 2015, about 500 entries produced by radio artists from more than 40 countries in 25 languages have been submitted to the competition. 

It invites contestants to produce a one-minute radio work in the language of their choice around the selected theme – Frontiers.

The event is supported by the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, Canada, and Avatar Centre, Québec.

The winners will receive three prizes of 1000$, 750$ and of 500$ CDN.

Works will also be aired throughout the year on many radio stations in the world.

Last date for submitting entries is April 14.
