92.7 BIG FM celebrates Indian harvest festivals

92.7 BIG FM is all set to celebrate India’s biggest harvest festivals across several regions with a host of initiatives.

The North Indian estival of Lohri will be celebrated by with baby girls celebrating their first harvest through songs composed by leading musicians, lyricists and singers.

Another Hindu festival Makar Sankranti – where people compete to fly and cut each other’s kites mid-air – will be marked by a musical contest along the same theme.

BIG FM will play a song and cut it in the middle, allowing listeners to call in and win prizes.

The contest will run until January 19 and it will also feature kite flying events.
