For the next two months, starting Monday September 28, listeners tuning in to any of the 11 Mediacorp radio stations can join in fun, easy games and win vouchers and cash prizes.
English stations
CLASS 95’s ‘Spin &Win’ is back! Listeners just need to listen in for the song of the hour from Monday to Friday and be the first caller through to qualify for the spin happening on Friday morning. The first qualifier that gets through on Friday when the cue to call happens, gets to spin the sure win wheel with a chance to win anything from $1000 to $20,000!
GOLD 905 has a brand new game, ‘Supersonic’ and there’s $20,000 in cash to be given away! From Monday to Friday, all listeners have to do is listen to a snippet of a song that is sped up and be the first caller through to guess the song title correctly to win cash! If there’s no winner, the amount will get snowballed!
Listeners need to guess where and what that week’s deejay based on the picture clue posted on the 987 Facebook or Instagram page and stand to win up to $10,000 cash! From Monday to Friday, listeners can tune in for the cue to call and ask the deejay of the week a ‘Yes/No’ question in order to play. Clues will also be released progressively over the week to help players along.
In celebration of Beethoven’s 250th birthday this year, Symphony 924 is offering listeners a chance to win shopping vouchers and cash up to $4,000 plus limited edition Beethoven 250 tote bags each week. Simply look out for the contest question on the Symphony Facebook page and clues on Symphony 924 every day on Breakfast with Andrew Lim, Lunchtreats with Khim Oei and The Drive Home with Gerald Wong. Chinese stations
Listeners just need to guess the correct 4-digit code and if he or she manages to break the code on the first day, this listener will win $10,000 cash! However, should the code remained unsolved each day, $500 will be deducted daily until it reaches $2,000. Listeners can play this game five times a day, aided with helpful hints from the deejays of course!
Six celebs will say a word each to form a sentence. Each question will be thematic, for example, Taiwanese singers or Hong Kong comperes. Listeners just need to guess one voice correctly in order to win $88 cash. All six winners will then enter into a lucky draw where they stand to win the grand prize of $8,888! Contest runs 10 times a day, Monday to Friday.
From Monday to Thursday, listeners will have five chances per day to be the first caller to guess the correct Chinese idiom and win $50 cash. They will also qualify for the Friday lucky prize wheel spin where the first caller will have the chance to win the base prize money of $50 in the multiples of 9, 5, and 8, or other prizes.
Malay stations
From Monday to Thursday, listeners are to take note of the three daily passwords which will be given out on air, on meLISTEN or Facebook. Listeners will have five chances per day to qualify for the finale round on Friday. The first caller to provide all three passwords will qualify for the finale round on Friday where the winners of a simple language game will win cash prizes up to $5,500!
From Monday to Thursday, listeners can look out for the ‘song of the belt’ which will be announced throughout the day by the deejays on duty. Listeners will have five chances per day to qualify for the mega round on Friday. Just be the first caller to provide the correct song title when the song is aired! The qualifiers can then participate in ‘Ria Mystery Song’ mega round on Friday by guessing the title of the mystery song based on clues provided on air and on social media platforms. The first qualifier with the correct song title, wins! Winners stand to win cash prizes up to $6,000!!
Tamil station
Oli listeners can play the Guess The Mystery Sound game which will run four times a day and win cash! Contestants would need to visit the Oli station page on meLISTEN site or app to obtain the unique password prior to the start of the game on air. The first person to identify the correct sound will walk away with the snowballed amount starting at $100. If there’s no winner, the amount will get snowballed at $50 increment. All the winners over the eight weeks period will qualify for the grand finale on 20 November 2020 where they can challenge for the grand prize of $10,000 cash.
