India’s 92.7 Big FM network recently launched a contest called ‘Birthday Game’, offering prizes worth $10445 (Rs 700,000) everyday.

To play the game, station’s RJs select a date and month by spinning a wheel and if listeners who call in share it as their birthday win prizes.

The station will choose 10 winners every day across the 45 cities where it broadcasts.

The 10-day contest will run on the morning show between 8 am and 9 am.

Winners also stand a chance to double their prize if they call the station within an hour of being declared winners for the day.

A spokesperson from 92.7 BIG FM said: “Through this game show we aim to leverage radio as a platform for multiple categories of entertainment ranging from music, fun contests to distinctive show formats.”
