Singapore’s MediaCorp station Capital 95.8 FM is ready with a marathon 40-episode radio drama series written by former DJ and scriptwriter Lin Bao Bao.

Split into four stories, the series will premiere on Monday, August 25.

The station says it is a journey through emotions with stories of colourful characters set in different backgrounds.

Lead characters will be played by Capital DJs, Qiu Shengyang and Zeng Shenglian with regular stage artistes.

DJs from Love 97.2FM’s morning show – Chen Biyu, Chen Jianbin, Zhou Chongqing and Love 97.2FM’s Senior Music Director, He Zigan will also join in the radio production.

‘Capital 95.8FM Radio Drama’ will involve people from all walks of life playing different characters.

Boon Kwok Sien, Senior Programme Director for Capital 95.8FM said: “Having ordinary faces and DJs in the mix, it proves that we are aiming to bring about more radical changes, creating a new and dynamic kind of radio drama.”

‘Capital 95.8FM Radio Drama’ will air at 6.45am, 11.40am, 2.50pm and 10.35pm on the station.
