iM4U fm announcers join Volunteer Malaysia 2015

iM4U, an organization that spearheads volunteer programs in Malaysia, has just launched Malaysia’s biggest volunteer program, Volunteer Malaysia 2015.

The program, which was launched last year, saw participation from 26,835 volunteers and engages Malaysians to take part in volunteerism, with the aim to make a difference in the community.

This year, the program will be held on September 12 and youth station iM4U fm’s announcers will be two of its icons.

Fiza and Tyler will be joining four other celebrities as icons that will lead the four pillars of activities – Public Art Movement, Green Team Activities, War On Dengue and Beach & Underwater Clean Up.

The event will be held simultaneously in Tokyo, New York, Manchester, Jakarta and Melbourne by volunteers at iM4U’s International Outreach Centres.

“Volunteer Malaysia is one of the many events that we have initiated to engage Malaysians to take part in volunteerism. Our aim is to nurture and foster a society that is more caring and responsible,”  says Rudy Malik, iM4U’s Chief Operating Officer.

“I am thrilled to be one of the icons for Volunteer Malaysia 2015. I will be taking part in the underwater cleaning. This is definitely an opportunity for everyone to get to know our ocean better,” says Fiza who co-hosts iM4U fm Bangkit on weekdays, 8am to 12pm.

“This is a great opportunity for fellow Malaysians to come together for a great cause. I believe that we can achieve greater results when everyone shows the support,” says Tyler, who hosts Chillx with Jiggy on weekdays, 4 to 8pm.
