MY FM awards for unsung heroes in India to return

DB Corp’s MY FM is bringing back its awards for unsung heroes within each of the seven Indian states it broadcasts to.

The Jiyo Dil Se Awards will be promoted across MY FM stations in Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Haryana.

The nine award categories aims to pay tribute to those who have made significant contributions to Indian society.

The are: education, environment & conservation, health and sanitation, public service, culture and art, sports, women’s welfare and empowerment, childcare and development and economic development.

The station says those applying for the awards will be judged on innovation, impact, scalability and sustainability as well as the challenges faced while executing the initiative.

Ernst & Young have been picked as official tabulators.

The Jiyo Dil Se Awards Season II will be promoted with a multimedia campaign across radio, print and online.

To apply for the award, people can log on to the MY FM website www.myfmindia.com and download the form.

The selected top entries in each category will be put for public voting and jury and listeners’ votes will determine the winners.
