Ticket sales for Australian Radio’s annual conference and awards night have opened. Readers in the Asia Pacific are urged to get tickets fast as the event often sells out.
The 27th Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) will be held on Saturday, 10 October at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and Commercial Radio Australia’s National Radio Conference will take place the day before on Friday, 9 October at Jupiters.
The awards will begin an hour earlier at 6.00 pm with red carpet starting at 5.00 pm, allowing more time at the end of the evening for individual networks to celebrate.
The Conference on the 9th will begin a little later at 9.00 am to allow delegates to fly into the Gold Coast from interstate on the morning of the conference, but will still start with a networking breakfast from 8.00 am.
More than 1200 radio industry insiders attend the ACRAs each year for a sit down dinner, live Australian entertainment and presentation of awards across the 33 categories.
Entrants across Australia are anxiously awaiting the release of ACRAs finalists scheduled for mid-August.
In addition to key industry speakers, this year’s National Radio Conference will feature an afternoon of hands-on workshops to maximise the value in a smaller group environment. Workshop topics will be “how to” sessions across the areas of; sales, hybrid radio and human resources.
ACRAs host, presenters and entertainment, plus National Radio Conference speakers will be announced over the coming months.
