One of Malaysia’s major Chinese language stations, 988 has come up with a romantic radio drama ‘Rainbow’, in the build up to Valentine’s Day which also coincides with Chap Goh Meh – the Chinese version of V-Day.

DJs Cheryl Lee and Chan Fong have lent their voices to the 16 episode drama featuring eight stories about relationships.

“I am excited and nervous at the same time, as this is my very first project for 2014,” Lee told The Star Online.

The show also stars local celebrities Steve Yap, Jane Ng and Wincci Soo.

Speaking to The Star, 988’s Morning show Chan Fong said he was thrilled to be part of this project. “I get to work with people I have known for years, and also people who are making their first appearances on radio drama. It is new and fresh for our listeners.”

Rainbow premiered at noon on Feb 11.

It airs Monday to Friday.
