Astana Media week in Kazakhstan

 

Astana Media week is being held in Kazakhstan from November 11 to 13. It will talk about media trends, signals of change and how to analyze them so that the future does not seem scary. It will act as a platform for interesting experiments focused on long-term sustainability of media companies.

Day One’s theme is Uniqueness.

The Plenary session is “Global Trends in Media Content Consumption”. The discussion will be based on Deloitte Сompany’s forecasts in the report “The Future of TV and Streaming Platforms in 2030.”

It will also feature a Video Message from the President of the United Nations Correspondents Union.

Public talk “How the Year 2020 Has Changed the Work of Editorial Offices” focuses on mobile editors/ new interactions with experts and plot characters.

It is moderated by Аnzhela Garipova, Journalist, “Quarantine Chronicles” project

The theme for day 2 is Competence

An online discussion titled “Media People – New Information Channels” will talk about opinion leaders shaping diverse content for their audiences

Speakers include Dmitry Marov – Chairman of the Board, AACA, co-owner of DASM Group, Jumayev Ilmurad, Head of Expert Council, AACA, General Director of VI Kazakhstan, Tigran Tuniyants – Creative Director, Gettarget, Anna Tyutkova – Business Development Director, Optimum Media Eurasia. It will be moderated by Dilmurad Rakhimov, Executive Partner, International Media Service Company.

A panel session on “Social Advertising as a Tool for Information Therapy. Working Principles In a Time of Crisis” will talk about relevance and necessity of social advertising in times of crisis.

Day 3 will focus on Honoring

It will include a session called “Social dilemma in media 2020” which focuses on working with a mass audience in the era of quarantine.

The event will end with Award Ceremony of “Urker” National Award in Print, Radio, Internet Journalism in Online Format.
