This April, Malaysian network Astro Radio’s English stations – MIX fm, hitz fm and Lite FM – are offering listeners a chance to win exciting prizes up to RM146,000 ($37,600).

All you have to do is participate in contests conducted by announcers, daily on FM from Monday to Friday.

MIX fm will reward listeners with shopping vouchers worth up to RM 90,000 ($23,177) on its contest ‘90s in 90 seconds’.

To participate, a listener has to be the first caller through on hearing the cue to call and choose from three categories – 90s TV shows, 90s songs or 90s famous artists.

Then, answer as many questions as possible within 90seconds. Each correct answer will be rewarded with RM50 shopping voucher and if one answers all 15 questions correctly, the station will double the prize to shopping vouchers worth RM1,500.

‘8 Bit Hitz’ on hitz fm will be giving away up to RM30,000 ($7725) worth of prizes.

The first caller through has to choose from either 8 bit hit or 8 big bit hit.

On picking the former, one has to identify the song title and artist correctly to win RM150 worth of shopping voucher.

Pick the latter and one would have to guess the song titles and artists of 8 mashed up songs to win RM 5000 worth of shopping voucher.

Lite FM is giving away holiday packages and shopping vouchers up to RM26,000 ($6695) on its ‘Relax, Shop and Recover’ contest.

One just has to call in and identify the relaxing sound played on air on hearing the cue to call.
