Benztown will promote ‘The House of Hair with Dee Snider’ to international market

The weekend rock program focuses on ‘hair bands’ including Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Poison and Van Halen. 


Benztown provides radio imaging, voiceover, programming and jingles, announces that it will market and promote the popular weekend rock radio show, “The House of Hair with Dee Snider” to radio stations outside the U.S.

The show is one of the biggest syndicated weekend rock shows in the U.S. and Canada and is hosted by Dee Snider, best known as the lead singer of the acclaimed rock band, Twisted Sister, who helped define the “Hair Band” genre of the ‘80s and early ‘90s.

“The House of Hair with Dee Snider” takes listeners on a musical trip back to the days when music was loud, hair was big, and the party went on till the early hours. The show focuses on ‘80s and early ‘90s “Hair Bands”, with a smattering of older influential rock bands thrown in, and is a hits-oriented showcase of huge songs from bands including: Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Ozzy Osbourne, Mötley Crüe, Poison and Van Halen.
 
The long-form show is delivered to stations in either a 3-hour or 2-hour format. In addition, Benztown will offer “The Daily House of Hair Cut”, a short feature to complement the weekly “House of Hair” long-form program.

“The Daily House of Hair Cut” is a Monday through Friday short-form program, with five daily features per week, including a “Today in Rock History” segment, focusing on rock star birthdays and seminal events in rock music history presented by Snider, with interview segments and a featured song. The shows are available to stations for cash or barter.
