India’s veteran Bollywood singer Asha Bhosle was in for a surprise when she visited the Mumbai office of 92.7 BIG GM on the occasion of Ganeshotsav.

Ganeshotsav is a 10-day hindu festival honouring the deity Ganesha and is celebrated with much fervour in the city of Mumbai.

Bhosle, who is famous for singing some of the most popular hindi movie hits of all time, was given a surprise birthday party by the station staff.

They presented her with a birthday cake and celebrated it on-air as well, as a delighted Bhonsle sang and danced with them.

She said: “I feel extremely blessed that God has backed me with all the success, fame and love that I have received from my fans. Their continuous support and appreciation is what keeps me going.”
