Friday 03 April, 2015

India`s 92.7 BIG FM has announced a unique collaboration with Nissan to promote its sedan Sunny.

The campaign highlights Sunny’s features of spaciousness and comfort, which is promoted in the vehicle’s advertising by positioning it as a ‘caaaaar’.

In order to complement this, 92.7 BIG FM’s changed its identity to ‘92.7 BIIIIIIG FM’ on Thursday, calling it the ‘BIIIIIG Day’.

The station also created more space for music and content just as Sunny provides more room for all its occupants.

Radio maestro Ameen Sayani’s retro show – ‘Sangeet Kay Sitaron Ki Mehfil’ did not have any ads and Annu Kapoor provided listeners with extra behind-the-scenes information about their favourite retro celebrities on his show ‘Suhaana Safar’.

Popular comedian Cyrus Broacha also hosted a special show called ‘Space Matters’ between 7 pm and 8 pm.

The campaign aired across 10 stations of BIG FM and reached over 25 million listeners.

Speaking on the collaboration, Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Private Ltd said: "Sunny is our flagship sedan and is the perfect example of Nissan innovation, as is our collaboration with 92.7 BIG FM.”

Lavneesh Gupta Chief Operating Officer, 92.7 BIG FM added: “The association with Nissan is a perfect fit for us as we also strive to give our listeners something extra in terms of innovation, content or entertainment each day.”
