BIG ghazal concert to raise cash for kids

India’s 92.7 BIG FM is organising a live concert by ghazal maestro Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan to assist an organisation that works for children.

The network is the official radio partner for ‘Ek Ehsaas’ (A feeling), the concert being held this Friday in Delhi featuring the legendary Pakistani singer.

Started by Khan, it is a series of concerts organised to benefit various NGOs throughout the world.

The Delhi concert will help the efforts to scale up Sweet Home kids managed by an NGO called Sangam.

Originally from Pakistan, Khan is also well-known in India, Nepal and Bangladesh for his unique singing style.

He started his career in 1960, and has also sung many hits for Bollywood movies like ‘Chupke Chupke’,’ Raat Din’ and ‘Ye Dil Ye Pagal Dil’.

Speaking about the event, Mr. Ashwin Padmanabhan, National Business Head, 92.7 BIG FM said: “It will be an experience to remember. Ek Ehsaas contributes to social causes with their concerts and we are delighted to support them.”
