Malaysia’s Chinese station 988 FM has brought back its popular on-ground event ‘Boss Talk’.

Successful radio announcer, writer and entrepreneur Chan Fong hosted the seminar at Sunshine Square, Penang recently, an interactive session to share his experience and knowledge of the corporate world.

The purpose of this year’s Boss Talk was to encourage youngsters to sharpen their work skills and stay competitive and relevant.

Speaking about branding and positioning in a competitive era, Chan said: “We live in a world that is more demanding and challenging, which is why we all must know how to position and brand ourselves effectively.”

Chan, hosts the station’s popular breakfast show ‘Morning Up’ which has the highest total Time Spent Listening (TSL) among all the Chinese stations in Malaysia.

Having worked in radio for more than 20 years, he is also an eminent figure in the advertising industry and is the brand ambassador for brands like Hitachi and Brands’ health drink.
