China National Radio (CNR) won two awards and two of its entries were commended in the radio category at the recent Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) General Assembly.

It won the award for ‘Best On Air Personality and its entry titled ‘Support in Life’ won in the ‘Community Service Announcement’ category.

Another CNR entry ‘Families on the Grassland’ was commended in the ‘Documentary’ category while ‘Kungfu’ received a commendation in the ‘Drama’ category.

The winning list also featured Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK), Japan’s national broadcaster NHK, Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), DZMM from Philippines and Bangladesh Batar.
