Dalet launches free education platform

Software-based media solutions provider Dalet Digital Media Systems announced the launch of its new online educational platform, Dalet Academy, on Wednesday.

The academy aims to cater to broadcast and media professionals worldwide and will cover technical as well as business implications of emerging technologies and trends in the industry.

It is a free online platform that includes features like the DaletBlog, authored by Dalet’s lineup of industry insiders and  ‘Bruce’s Shorts’ – the highly successful video series hosted by Dalet’s chief media scientist Bruce Devlin.

It will also offer case studies, white papers, industry articles and webinars.

The first webinar, ‘UHDTV is for the Future, What is it and Why Should I Worry Now?’ will take place on February 19.

Dalet’s training courses are the Academy’s only paid-for content and are currently reserved for its customers, channel and technology partners.

As an open education platform, the Dalet Academy also welcomes users to suggest topics, educational materials, or make a contribution by contacting the editors at .
