Hit 95 Delhi studio turns into a live stage

Delhi’s HIT 95 FM turned eight by turning its studio into a live stage and having a birthday party on air.

The celebration, called ‘Live and Loaded’, had eight bands perform live on September 1.

The lineup of bands included The Revisit Project, Kitchensink, Red Mawkin, The Circus, Shadow and Light, Dhruv Visvanath, Barefaced Liar and Half Step Down.

From 9 am, each hour was dedicated to a particular band through the day’s broadcast.

They played their signature music and talked about their journey.

According to the station, it wanted to support the independent music scene through primetime play of indie songs and live interviews.

HIT 95 FM festures local artists on ‘Breakfast Jam’ -a two hour interview slot Saturday morning 10 am to 12 noon and ‘Jampad ‘- an interview show, Monday to Friday from 11 am to 12 noon.
