Indian breakfast presenter dies while on air

Shubham Keche, 24, who worked as an RJ for Indian network Radio Mirchi’s Nagpur station, died on Thursday while presenting his show.

Keche was hosting the breakfast show, Hi Nagpur, which airs from 7 am to 11 am.

According to his colleagues, at around 9.30 am he went to the washroom during one of the breaks and was found unconscious on the floor.

The security guard and the office boy immediately rushed him to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

The post mortem reports revealed that his death was caused by cardiac arrest.

A popular radio personality in the city, he was the sole bread winner of his family since his father died of brain haemorrhage three years ago.
