Kiss92’s listenership is on the rise

 

In the latest Nielsen radio survey results for Singapore, SPH Radio's Kiss92's listenership continues to increase.

Its cumulative listenership stands at 679,000, up by 18,000 from the first half of 2017. This the station’s highest listenership since its launch five years ago.

Its evening drive time show, helmed by Shan Wee, also took the top spot as the number one English evening drive time show. 

Kiss92 targets women aged 30 and above, and families with faily content, coupled with adult contemporary music.

SPH Radio's Mandarin station UFM100.3 also saw an increase in share percentage and time spent listening – which now stands at 11hrs 2mins, the highest ever for the station.

SPH Radio's other English station ONE FM 91.3 has maintained a stable listenership of 230,000. The station, best known for its morning show, Glenn and The Flying Dutchman, plays songs from the 80s and 90s. Its recent Top 800 songs of the 80s countdown drew a huge following, with fans calling it “brilliant” and exclaiming how much memories it brought back for them.

Sim Hong Huat, General Manager of SPH Radio, said: “The results are encouraging and in fact the team is constantly trying to improve itself for our fans. Things will get more exciting with two more stations, 96.3好FM and MONEY FM 89.3, launching in January 2018. Look out for them”

Targeted to launch on January 8, 96.3好FM (96.3 Hao FM) will take listeners a trip down memory lane with familiar mandarin pop tunes from the 80s and 90s. With a tagline of “Great Songs, Hao FM”, listeners can expect to hear classic hits from Wan Fang, Winnie Hsin, Wakin Chau, Faye Wong, Jacky Cheung along with local xinyao music. 

MONEY FM 89.3, Singapore's first and only business and personal finance radio station in English, is expected to launch on January 29. The talk-format station will focus on business and money-related topics, as well as general news and discussion of wider social topics such as health, education, music and more. With the tagline 'Stay Ahead', the station aims to provide relevant and on-the-go information to help its audience to always be on top of the happenings in Singapore and around the world.
