Radiodays Asia, which will take the second edition of this event online for 2021, due to the ongoing pandemic, has announced a new set of speakers.
This virtual event will remain on the dates announced for 2021, 24 – 26 March and will focus on 'What's next for radio and podcasting in Asia?'
The newly announced speakers include:
Jane Ractliffe, Managing Director, Standard Media Index, Australia
Jane cofounded SMI in 2009 and runs the Australian and New Zealand operations while managing local agency relationships. Jane’s background is in media as a business journalist and media editor for 15 years at Australia’s national newspaper, The Australian. The media industry remains Jane’s passion, but she’s more interested today in how media is assigned in SMI’s data set. She works with SMI’s Agency partners to continually improve data and data reporting in SMI’s Media and Category reports.
Abraham Thomas, Chief Executive Officer, Reliance Broadcast Network, India
A media evangelist, he has over two decades of experience in building and scaling youth media platforms (across TV, Radio, Digital, Print) in India, China and South Asia. During his long-standing career, he has held various leadership positions across brands in the media and broadcast space.
Greg Byrnes, Head of Content, Nine Radio, Australia
Greg Byrnes joined Nine Radio as Head of Content when Nine Entertainment acquired a group of talk and music stations last year. He was previously Executive Producer of Sky News talk programs and before that had a long career in radio, most notably at 2UE where he spent 17 years as News Director and Program Director.
