New speakers for Radiodays Asia 2019

 

This week's new confirmed speakers for Radiodays Asia include American tech giant Google, an international research analyst and a multi award- winning sound creative expert. 

Here are the new confirmed speakers:

Brenda Salinas, News on The Assistant, Google, USA, Formerly a producer at the American public broadcaster NPR, Bredna will talk about how broadcasters can get into smart speakers and to get traction for podcasts on Google Podcast.

Ralph van Dijk, Founder and Director of Eardrum, Australia, the most awarded radio and audio agency in the world, renowned for its innovative radio campaigns.

Paul AmosManaging Director, Xtra Insights, Australia, an entertainment research company working with leading radio and TV networks and music labels in Australia, Asia and Europe.

Earlier confirmed speaker include:

Kalki Koechin, Bollywood actress, and the host on one of India´s first podcast successes, produced by BBC World Service in India. With millions of followers, Kalki´s “My Indian Life” examines ordinary people´s lives and discuss many controversial topics.

Richard Knight, the editor of “My Indian Life” and deputy head of the BBC’s current affairs radio department, will tell the story behind the successful podcast. 

Mike Cass, Content Director, Virgin Radio UK, about the strategy behind the re-invigorated Virgin brand and its relaunch with Chris Evans as breakfast host.

Deb Hishon, Media Measurement Director, ANZ of GfK, Australia, who will share insights and data from radio audience research in Australia and Asia.
