New speakers at Radiodays Europe 2017: Amazon to showcase Alexa and Echo

Radiodays Europe, the annual conference for the European radio industry and a destination for radio people from around the world, has announced new speakers at its eighth edition, which will be held in Amsterdam from March 19 to 21.

With more than 50 sessions and workshops there will be four different sessions running on 4 stages in parallel.

Radiodays Europe will be showcasing what´s new in radio and expanding its scope to include the latest on the wider audio market and its new players.

The programme addresses many of today’s opportunities and challenges for radio.

In total there will be 120+ speakers from stations and radio related businesses from around the world will be sharing their experiences, knowledge and passion for how to make great radio – on air and on every digital platform.

Some of the newly confirmed speakers include:

David Isbitski, Chief Evangelist for Alexa and Echo, Amazon, USA, explaining why Amazon is moving into audio and how the new platforms work

Kieran McGeary, CEO of Cork’s 96FM & C103 at Wireless Group, Ireland

Felicia Reinstädt, Head of Programme, Radio Bremen, Germany, about cross media branding combining radio and social media

Basyl Agterberg, Media Historian at the Institute for Sound and Vision, the Netherlands, about the radio.garden project
