Oli FM launches kids’ show

Singapore’s Tamil station Oli 96.8FM is launching a new kids’ show called ‘Kutti Galatta’, hosted by children themselves.

To be aired on Saturday from 2pm – 3pm, the show will feature children’s singing, debate and on-air dramas besides providing relevant entertainment and information.

Ten shortlisted Oli Junior RJ kids have been selected for Kutti’s Galattta, based on the recent Oli Junior RJ auditions which tested them for on-air presentation skills and language.

Shreya, one of the main anchors said: “The adrenalin rush being on-air is definitely a memorable experience.”

Oli RJs Rafi and Ranjaniy have mentored the children with broadcast practices and language usage.

Kutti’s Galatta aims to ensure that kids are media-savvy and versatile while grooming them to be  the next generation of media practitioners.
