‘Pioneering’ men lauded by RTHK Radio 1

Hong Kong broadcaster RTHK’s inspirational series ‘Hong Kong Pioneers’ is underway for a second year.

This year Cantonese channel Radio 1 will share the experiences of the territory’s pioneering men after the project received rave reviews for profiling dozens of successful women last year.

The programme, hosted by Shelley Lee Lai-kuen and Au Ka-lun, invites 30 men of all ages and backgrounds to share their successes, so as to inspire others.

Some of Hong Kong’s best known names from politics, business, culture and medicine will be sharing their stories.

Guests include former Hong Kong Jockey Club Chairman John Chan,  politician Chung Sze-yuen, Cantonese Opera artiste Yuen Siu-fai, and veteran Social Worker Ho Hei-wah.

The show airs on Saturday evenings from 10pm on RTHK Radio 1.
