Singapore station UFM100.3's 2018 Chinese New Year song “I Wang U” (I 旺 U) has received tremendous support from fans at Waterway Primary School.

Students from the school are practicing the song for their school's Chinese New Year celebrations.

The school will also be filming their own Chinese New Year music video to the song and have invited UFM100.3 DJs to make a cameo.

The song first hit the airwaves in early January, followed by the release of the music video on UFM100.3's Facebook and YouTube pages, as well as on outdoor screens, cable TV and even in theatres. 

The release of the song and music video led to overwhelming response from listeners, companies and even schools. Not only did the music video on Facebook chalk up more than 170,000 views, UFM100.3 fans also showed their support for the video through WhatsApp by requesting for the soft-copy of the music video too.

Companies have also requested to screen the “I Wang U” music video on their video panels in the lead-up to Chinese New Year.
