Radio City launches voting awareness campaign

Indian network Radio City 91.1FM has announced an awareness campaign called 'Vototsav' to emphasize the importance of voting in the upcoming elections in the western state of Gujarat.

The elections for the state’s Legislative Assembly are set to take place on December 9 and 14.

Launched in association with the District Election Office, Ahmedabad – the capital of Gujarat, the campaign will drive awareness in the voter community and emphasize the significance of citizen participation in elections.

Radio City's RJ Harshil is the radio brand ambassador for the activity and has been entrusted with the responsibility of engaging with the voters and encouraging them to exercise their voting rights. 

The campaign kick-started on November 9 in conjunction with the District Election Office and Gujarat University.

The launch was attended by over 1,000 enthusiastic participants along with the release of the 'Vototsav Anthem' by Radio City.
