Philippines’ Rakista Radio, in partnership with 12 Stone Records, will launch its ‘Rakista Radio Volume 1: Rakrakan Festival ‘14’ compilation album on Saturday.

Rakista.com is a website dedicated to promote Pinoy rock music and provides forums, blogs, articles, interviews, downloads, and chat rooms which help Filipino bands promote their music online.

The album features 18 tracks from selected artists who performed at Rakrakan Festival ’14 – a one-day celebration of Pinoy music, sports, art, and pride.

According to the company, the album was created for fans as a memento and to expose artists further in the local scene and hopefully help them get international exposure.

Artists who will performing at the launch include Save Me Hollywood, Maybe Thursday, Jejaview, Saydie, Imbue No Kudos, Mr. Bones & the Boneyard Circus, Subculture, Diachroma and Days of January.

The album will be released at Rakista Jam Tayo LXX – its titular monthly gig in Metro Manila.
