Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) Radio 4’s producer and presenter Dennis Wu is set to host ‘Journeys through Music Lecture Series: Into Russia’.

In the latest instalment of a lecture series presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Wu will introduce Russia’s unique music culture, review familiar works and feature eight Russian composers.

These include Mussorgsky, Pyotr Il’yich Tchaikovsky, Jean Sibelius, Sergei Rachmaninov, Alexander Scriabin, Igor Stravinsky, Sergei Prokofiev and Dmitry Shostakovich.

He will present the talks in Cantonese at the Hong Kong Space Museum on Wednesdays at 7.30 pm between May 27 and July 29.

Wu earlier hosted ‘Into Germany’ and ‘Into Eastern Europe’ lectures as a part of the series, which received a positive response.
