Singapore’s English station Class 95 FM has roped in Simone Heng to host its afternoon show from July 27.

Heng, who was born in Singapore and grew up in Australia, will present The Afternoon Show with Simone Heng from 2 pm to 5 pm. 

She has been in the radio industry since 2008, having worked for Mix FM in Perth and Virgin 104.4 in Dubai previously.

Her show The Lowdown on Virgin was the number one English show in its time slot for four years.

She has also hosted shows on CNN International and HBO Asia in addition to appearing in television commercials.

After spending the last 7 years abroad, Heng decided to head back to her career started – Singapore. 

She said: “I am thrilled to be part of Class 95, a brand that’s close to the heart of so many Singaporeans, including me! I’m looking forward to sharing my love of entertainment, fashion and food with listeners.
