SPH Radio converts to RCS Aquira

Broadcast software company RCS has announced that SPH Radio will add Aquira as their traffic system of choice.

SPH Radio manages and operates three radio stations, ONE FM 91.3, UFM 100.3 and Kiss92 in Singapore.

SPH Radio currently uses RCS GSelector for music scheduling and RCS Zetta for playout.

Aquira, which was designed to be more than a traffic system, is described as a full-business management software platform.

With real-time access to sales and inventory data via Aquira2Go, the mobile component of Aquira, the system’s vast range of scheduling, billing and reporting options will be utilized by SPH Radio.

SPH Radio Head of Sales Kristy Kong, who drove the switch to Aquira, said: “We previously used Airwaves from RCS, but Aquira takes traffic to another level. It’s quite scalable and easy to use. The power of Aquira2Go will allow my team to work on their phone and tablets from anywhere. Account Executives will be able to access data remotely to build a proposal with real time access to the station inventory and then present the contract to the advertiser. Aquira and Aquira2GO will keep the team completely connected to the managers and traffic team back at the station. We’re excited by it.”

President/CEO of RCS, Philippe Generali, commented on the upgrade: “SPH Radio has been a long-time customer and in fact KISS92 was our first client using the powerful Zetta/GSelector combination. The combination of Zetta, GSelector and now Aquira will give SPH Radio great flexibility and a firm foundation to move forward in radio inventory management.”
