India’s music industry came together on Thursday night for the 6th Royal Stag Mirchi Music Awards powered by Idea and organised by the 32 city network Radio Mirchi.
Many of the biggest rockstars of the music & film industry attended including Javed Akhtar, Shahrukh Khan, Anandji Bhai, Madhuri Dixit, Prasoon Joshi, Subhash Ghai, Shankar Mahadevan, Nargis Fakhri, Ila Arun, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Ileana D’Cruz, Varun Dhawan and many more.
Hosted by Sonu Niigaam and stand up comedian/actor Manish Paul, the show featured performances by Vishal Shekhar, Arijit Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika and the talented young voices of Aditya Narayan, Naqash, Ankit Tiwari, Aditi Singh Sharma and Anmol Malik.
The highlight of the Awards Night was Bollywood heartthrob Shahrukh Khan receiving Face of Romantic Music Award.
Receiving the award he said: “It is great to see the entire music fraternity come together under one roof to appreciate good music and efforts put in by the music maestros. It is humbling to be honoured amongst these geniuses for an award like this. I must credit the singers and the whole music team for their efforts.”

The awards show will be telecast on Colors on Sunday, March 16, 7 pm onwards.
