The UAE’s Filipino radio channel Tag 91.1 has received a record one million entries from listeners for an on-air competition. 

The Arabian Radio Network (ARN) owned station is giving listeners the opportunity to win a fully furnished luxurious hotel apartment for a year.

The final draw will take place live on air on Thursday, June 18.

The station’s General Manager Mahmoud al Rasheed said: “When we flew to Manila to hire the world’s best Filipino talent for this channel we knew we had a special station that would bring the magic of radio to the 650,000 Filipinos in the UAE.”

The station was launched two years ago and sits alongside some of ARN’s most successful radio brands such as Virgin Radio Dubai and City 1016.
