Malaysia’s Tamil station THR Raaga premiered the latest season of popular web drama Serial Pei 2.0 on Monday.

The station has produced 15 episodes of the drama, which airs on its website and Facebook page on weekdays at noon.

Serial Pei Season 1 created waves on social media in 2016, garnering stellar reviews for the 11-episodes of this comedy-horror-drama production.

It had a reach of 10 million on THR Raaga’s social media.

Serial Pei 2.0 has a gripping storyline that is a continuation from Season 1, where a family moves into a new house and mysterious occurrences begin to take place.

It has been directed by Rani Sundarajoo and features popular THR Raaga announcers, Ananthaa, Uthaya, Raam, Revathy, Suresh, Kavimaaran, Geetha, Ahila, Shalu, Yashini and Jay.

Listeners will also have an opportunity to win a cash prize of RM300 each, when they participate in an on-air contest and get the answers correct to simple questions based on Serial Pei 2.0.
